Man oh man. I've really done it now. I've become like every other stinkin' "business" in this world? Everybody's got their exclusive, official website, no matter how removed from their product it actually is. Ever notice that? Every single stupid product you pick up has its own website. For instance, on a hunch I went to the bathroom to look at a package of Angel Soft toilet paper. I couldn't find one at first, but, sure enough, there was a website for their main headquarters, Georgia Pacific at www.gp.com. Now, what on earth could they possibly tell me about their product besides what it obviously does for me? Well, let's take a look... If you'll take the link provided at the bottom of the page, you'll get to Georgia-Pacific's page complete with links to other divisions of their company. However, click on the picture of the kid holding his favorite wiping material. If you continue clicking to the "household tissues" and "bath tissues" sections, you'll get to a screen thathat does no more than provide a list of the various types of Angel Soft toilet paper...AND THAT'S IT!!! There's nothing else! There's no special offers! No contests! No games! Just all the fabulous scents and colors and quantities Georgia-Pacific has for the consumer. Who (besides me) would take time out of their busy lives to get on the net and navigate through Georgia-Pacific's site just to help decide whether to get 16 rolls or 32 rolls in a package?
